Who does she think she is?

Zoe Cohen thinks she is a new media artist, writer, and educator based in Brooklyn. She uses art to tell stories of invisible disability, womanhood, and philosophy, with a cheeky and absurd tone. Her background in philosophy allows her to be unburdened by assumptions when she approaches a project.

Her work has been exhibited at Currents New Media Festival, the Every Woman Biennial, Open Hardware Summit, and NYC Resistor, among others. She has given talks and workshops on animation, visual storytelling, and using philosophy to make more meaningful projects.
