Temple Israel of Natick

Temple Israel is a vibrant and inclusive Jewish community of 450+ families. I consulted for them for three years. I designed a new brand, made marketing materials, and designed event posters for the temple and the Judy Gordon Early Learning Center.

OLD LOGO

MY REDESIGN

The Temple was long overdue for a new logo. I wanted the new design to represent growth and celebrate life. The new logo shows sprouts of all sizes dancing and growing together. It feels more organic and is a much more accurate depiction of the Temple’s nurturing community.

Rabbi Liben’s Retirement Celebration Event

After 30 years at Temple Israel, Rabbi Liben retired. The temple held an event in his honor.

The event was on June 13 (6/13). I learned in childhood that the pomegranate, an important symbol in Judaism, is said to have 613 seeds, one for each commandment in the Torah. I decided to use pomegranate motifs to call attention to this special date.
